In April, 2011, the LaSalle County Board enacted an ordinance regulating development in Floodplain areas.  This ordinance was enacted pursuant to the police powers granted to LaSalle County by 55 ILCS 5/5-1041 and 5/5-1063 (State Bar Edition)
